Kansas Bankers Association: Sarah Weltmer, VP - Compliance Operations Specialist
Sarah has an impressive background rooted in community banking; she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for compliance. With a robust 19-year journey in banking, including a decade as a dedicated Compliance Officer at a bank, Sarah thrives on challenges, particularly within the compliance landscape. She is dedicated to being a positive resource and pillar of support for fellow bank employees, embodying the spirit of collaboration.
AGH: Tyler P. Waldon, CPA Senior Vice President, Assurance Services
Tyler joined AGH in 2011, bringing with him four years of previous banking experience. He is also a shareholder and director for a $190 million community bank in Kansas. His experience includes financial statement audits, directors’ exams, loan reviews, bank compliance, internal audit, FDICIA consulting, and other attest services, with 15 years of experience in FI engagements. He primarily serves clients in the financial services industry.
He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), and the Community Bankers Association. Tyler is actively involved with the Kansas Bankers Association as a graduate of the 2019 Bank Leaders of Kansas Class and a Young Bank Officers of Kansas (YBOK) Board Member. He was named a Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree in 2024. Tyler is a graduate of Kansas State University.
